JING Matcha Starter Set

The JING Matcha Starter Set includes a "Kazuho" bamboo whisk hand-made by one of the most renowned whisk makers in Japan, a bamboo "chashaku" tea spoon and a beautiful deep black and rich red brown coloured bowl. The "Koseto no Kuro" bowl is also hand-made and of a very high quality, produced in one of Japan's most famous kilns.

The set also includes a gold tin containing 20g of JING Matcha Supreme.

The rim of the matcha bowl is deliberately uneven and the colouring on each bowl is beautiful and unique to each bowl. In this way the bowl embodies some of the ideas of Wabi-sabi, a Japanese aesthetic centred on the idea of beauty in asymmetry, imperfection and simplicity.
