INCREDIBLE BREAKFAST TEA

Assam is the world’s largest tea growing region. This is where Assam bush, Camellia sinensis assamica, was discovered in 1823. Assam tea is low-grown and holds a reputation as the strongest, full-bodied tea to be found.

It is fresh, cleansing and intensely enjoyable to drink.

Fresh, fragrant, fulfilling, this unique blend will refresh and sooth. Soft, and soothing white tea with beautiful, fragrant whole rose buds.

Approximately 9 mini cakes (tuo) per 50g. Simply unwrap and drop one of these 10 year old single serving sized cakes into a teapot or cup and let it infuse. Convenient, authentic and delicious.

Like any great cooked puerh, the taste is moreish, earthy, rich and deeply textured with a dark red infusion.

Rich, excitingly pungent, full of the rounded almost peaty smoke notes given by cunningly banked fires of local pine. Complex and teasing with a hazel-sweet freshness behind the supple smoke.

Medium fired and oxidised in the traditional way to give a beautiffuly satisfying, flavour of roasted hazel and autumn fruits. It is also wonderful when paired with fried mushrooms.
