This year's freshly picked crops of green and yellow teas will be premiered at our JING Tea Bar (stand 65) at the Real Food Festival in Earl's Court, London, from Thursday April 24th to Sunday April 27th. Please come and see us!

Every year at the beginning of April, we begin our regular pilgrimage to China's foremost tea producing areas, to taste and buy the first crops of green, yellow and white teas.

At The Real Food Festival, Edward and his team will present this year's freshest teas served in gong-fu style. These include two outstanding new yellow teas: Imperial Mountain Silver Needle (Jun Shan Yin Zhen) and Mo Gan Yellow Buds; as well as Dragon Well and Anji Bai Cha green teas.

JING IS GOING GREEN - in addition to being organically certified by the Soil Association, we now pack all our tea in a new factory in China which has achieved ISO14001 standard (this is an environmental accreditation, ensuring minimal carbon output and monitoring of recycling, packaging procedures and waste disposal). Packing at source ensures low carbon footprint (and great tea quality) through minimal transportation of the tea. We are also sponsoring some of our main producers to achieve Fair Trade certification, and by 2009 we plan to launch a new range of 100% biodegradable packaging. This is why we're proud to be a part of the Real Food Festival, which focuses on showcasing producers with good environmental and ethical standards.

Tickets for the festival are available from their website www.realfoodfestival.co.uk in advance (£15.00 per ticket) or on the door at Earl's Court (£18.00)
