Picked on 5th April 2009 from Cedar Hill garden. Our Dragon Well green tea is characterised by enticing sweet aromas of freshly plucked tea buds and teasing orchard fruit. 

Grown in misty mountains in China's Jiande green tea terroir. Maojian is a bright and fresh tea.

It is fresh, cleansing and intensely enjoyable to drink.

Certified organic by the Soil Association.

Rich, excitingly pungent, full of the rounded almost peaty smoke notes given by cunningly banked fires of local pine. Complex and teasing with a hazel-sweet freshness behind the supple smoke.

Richly and smoulderingly smoky yet with great harmony and wealth of aroma, leaving an impression of almost peaty warmth.

A fine introduction to Wuyi oolong teas. Ample richness, mineral depth and floral aromatics. An ideal oolong for everyday drinking.

Packaged in a gold tin, containing 50g of loose whole leaf tea in a foil bag.
