Loose Tea

Taiwan Phoenix Oolong is smooth and silky with orange blossom, berries and creamy hazelnut notes. Hand-sourced from Ming Jian, Nantou Province, Taiwan.

An exquisite return to our range, fresh from our trip to Anhui in May 2011. This tea is velvety textured with palate cleansing clarity and a long, lingering finish with notes of dark chocolate and sweet orchid. 

New for 2011, this tea shows all the unique characteristics of Dong Ding: rich textures, bright aromatics grounded in more-ish sweetness, and bright aromatics with hints of mango, pineapple and lily.

A truly exceptional black tea from Li Shan with a stunning flavour full of caramel and ripe floral notes. This is JING Tea founder, Edward Eisler's favourite tea of recent years. 

Hojicha is a roasted Japanese green tea with a deliciously smooth, toasty and almost caramel like flavour. Low in caffeine and particularly good with meals.

An extremely rare and beautifully aged loose raw puerh from the 1970s. The infusion is a magnificent ruby red-brown and has an incredibly smooth, silky and refined mouthfeel.

A classic Phoenix oolong tea and a new selection for JING. Characterised by a spring flower and fruit aroma and a rich and malty taste with honey and barley sweetness.

Picked between 5th April and 10th April 2011 from Tai Mu Mountain garden. A delicious introduction to Chinese white teas. Composed of two-leaf and bud sets, White Peony is renowned for its refreshing flavour and sweetness.

Our Matcha Supreme green tea has a deliciously sweet and deep flavour and vivid, bright green colour typical of Matcha tea produced using the finest tencha base leaves.

This Gyokuro green tea comes from Kagoshima, in the Kyushu of Japan. A terrific example of Gyokuro green tea.

A decaffeinated Ceylon black tea, still with the same great flavour, body and richness typical of our other Ceylon teas.
