Ping Lin

Ping Lin and nearby Shi Ding, are home to two of Taiwan's most famous teas: Oriental Beauty (Dong Fang Mei Ren) which is heavily oxidised with flavours of caramel and pineapple, and Wenshan Baozhong which is very lightly oxidised and fired and has wonderfully fresh and floral aromas.

It is the southernmost district of Taipei city. Taipei city itself lies in a basin, surrounded by mountains to the south, east and north. Even though Ping Lin is within the Taipei city limits, it makes a great escape from the hustle and bustle of the city for the locals.
