The warm climate of Kagoshima, Southern Japan means that along with Uji, it is one of the premier tea regions of Japan. The tea has a deliciously refreshing fragrance and taste and is best infused with 50-70°C water. Picked in Kirishima Garden, Kagoshima.

Appearance: deep-green, whole needles of tea

Infusion: a light and vibrant yellow-green

Aroma: creamy sweet, fresh and grassy

Taste: sweet and refeshing with a satisfying and thick texture

Infuse: half tbsp per cup; water temperature 50-70°C: infuse 3-4 minutes
