Our Sencha Supreme is composed of beautifully shaped emerald coloured leaves. It has a mellow sweetness perfectly balanced with a mild and refreshing astringency.
*Based on 3g per serving, infused 3 times.
Appearance: deep, pine-green needles of tea
Infusion: light glowing green-yellow
Aroma: sweet, soft nettle and scents of wild plant leaves
Taste: silky mouthfeel with a light and deep flavour, hints of umami, a cool and sweet aftertaste with light hints of rocket and radish on the finish
Infuse: half tbsp per cup; water temperature 70°C: infuse 3-4 minutes

A truly flawless tea
After working my way through most of Jing's teas by way of their Tea Explorers I have determined that this is my absolute favourite tea.
The aroma when you first open the packet is like that of a fresh spring grass, the leaves are a verdant deep green that speak of class of green tea one would only expect from a quality Japanese Sencha.
Steeping has to be done carefully to really achieve this tea's full potential, both in terms of quantity of leaf and temperature of water. But if you get it right you get a cup of tea that in my experience is currently unrivalled. Or should I say many cups of tea as this tea steeps more times than any other green tea I have tried, it just seems to keep producing those pure, subtle, vibrant flavours.
I love to drink this tea most after Sushi, as the combination leave me with a real sense of well being!
Definately a tea I shall be purchasing again and again. -
Definative Sencha Experience
My thirst for a high quality Sencha has finally been quenched since moving away from Japan nearly a decade ago. This Supreme Sencha truly lives up to its name and provides an experience which will wake you up to the potential of Japanese tea.
The consistent, deep green leaves brew to give a tea with a vibrant emerald appearance and an aroma that is at once refreshing and relaxing.
This Supreme Sencha has a sweetness which gives way to a wonderful roasted flavour and a perfectly subtle astringency. The depth of flavour is held together with a remarkable balance.
A light spice on the finish leaves an active feel in the mouth and encourages repeated steeps.
Although I love this Sencha in the morning, recently I have been enjoying it after dinner accompanied by rich, dark chocolate. A very impressive tea. -

This is my first taste of Jing teas. I am very impressed with the Sencha, Great fresh taste and a wonderful aroma. Its great to find a healthy addiction in life!
Packaging
