The Mandarin name of this tea (He Xian Dan Cong) translates as"Immortal Blessing Phoenix". Picked in the autumn of last year, this tea is a delicious introduction to Phoenix oolong teas.

Appearance: large, dark, finely twisted whole leaves with rusty brown tints
Infusion: deep red-gold
Aroma: light spring flowers underpinned by honey, malt and barley
Taste: honeycomb sweetness and syrupiness with classic phoenix spring flower and fruit tastes, particularly apricot
Infuse: 1 tbsp per cup in boiling water for 2 minutes
