Yellow teas are processed in a similar way to green teas: picking, withering, firing...but there is an extra method, unique to yellow tea production, in which the tea is wrapped in paper and gently warmed (40-60 degrees), which softens the flavour of the tea and removes the vegetal flavour present in green tea.

  • Mellow and delicious

    5 stars rating
A mellow, refreshing an moreish yellow tea. A shade darker than a robust Green, developing a light amber to Bristol Cream colour in the pot. Scents of nectar and hint of remaining vegetation with a touch of smoke to the nose, also sweetnees. On tasting, mellow, liquer like and sweet. Perfect afternoon pick me up, very approachable and easy going. Wonderful way of experiencing the little known Yellow Tea- this will become a favourite.
