Yellow teas are processed in a similar way to green teas: picking, withering, firing...but there is an extra method, unique to yellow tea production, in which the tea is wrapped in paper and gently warmed (40-60 degrees), which softens the flavour of the tea and removes the vegetal flavour present in green tea.

*Based on 3g per serving, infused 3 times.

Appearance: Dark green leaves sprinkled with yellow-green tips

Infusion: Glowing yellow

Aroma: A sweet honey aroma with a vegetal freshness

Taste: Refreshing and cleansing with floral and grassy notes

Infuse: 1-2 tsp per cup in 80°C water for 3 minutes

I received 10g of this tea with my last order and I must say it's absolutely great. It's gentle, tastes a lot like chinese green teas, except without bitterness. It makes 3-4 infusions, if infused at around 80 degrees for 100-120 seconds. Recommended!
