To drive increases in quality and quantity of JING served in customers through delivery of JING training programme and in consumer awareness through increased staff and partner advocacy and their perfect serve delivery of JING.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of the role are outlined below:
Customer/Distributor Training Programmes
- Work with Head of Tea Experience to create, manage and disseminate JING training materials
- Deliver trainings in person, virtually and via creation of videos (with support from the creative team)
- Maintain industry best practice training through working with chefs and ambassadorial network
Training Delivery
- Deliver trainings to enable perfect serve, JING brand awareness and tea knowledge to enable customers / distributors to maximise tea sales
- Deliver ‘train the trainer’ programme for second tier customers to enable increased knowledge sharing
JING Staff Training
- Work with head of tea experience to ensure optimised tea, product and brand knowledge of sales and customer service teams
- Support launch of new products through timely delivery of internal training
- Deliver weekly category/ brand engagement sessions to whole company to drive engagement/passion for brand
- Train all JING new starters, disseminating a basic tea knowledge
Ambassadorial
- Represent brand at key consumer and trade events
Experience & Competencies required:
The JING Tea Trainer is expected to have the following experience and competencies:
- A passion for / interest in high quality food and drink
- Understanding of high-end hospitality
- Staff and customer training experience (virtual training a bonus)
- Confident, clear communication skills
- Ability to strategize, write, design and implement training programmes according to customer requirements and JING brand best practices
- IT proficiency in PowerPoint and InDesign (ideal)
- Energetic and proactive, ability to prioritise own tasks and see projects through to completion.
- Ability to inspire and engage across a wide network
- Have the flexibly to travel when required
