This small batch of spring 2020 Shanlinxi is grown high up in the mountains giving it a distinct creamy character. Lightly oxidised and rolled, it's a calming, full-bodied, fruity and highly floral oolong tea.

This is the first tea we have found from this region that has stood out for its refinement and excellent execution of flavour. Grown at an altitude of 1,600m in a forested area in Nantou County, it's abundant in high mountain character. The tea is produced by Luo Zhengbin, who follows organic practices in his garden and innovatively uses a new hybrid of two famous cultivars (Jin Xuan and Qing Xin) to give the tea its unique creaminess, high florality and refinement. The perfect cup

  • Measure 4g or 2 tsp per cup (125ml)
  • Heat water to 100°C
  • Infuse tea for 2 minutes
  • You can re-infuse this tea up to 4 times
