Shimen Green Mountain

石门银峰

We selected our Shimen Green Mountain from the organic, biodiverse Ziliang garden at an elevation of over 1,000m in the spectacular Wuling Mountains. At such altitude, the tea has time to grow slowly and develop astounding aroma, texture and complex flavour. Tea master Mr Li has particularly strict selection methods, only ever picking the best sweet buds in dry conditions and prioritising quality over quantity. Highly prized at origin, these silver-tipped tea leaves rarely find their way outside China.

  • Cultivar - Qunti Zhong
  • Picked - Spring
  • Oxidisation level - 0%

    Delicious & divine!

This tea is wonderful and has now become my favourite. It has a clean, sweet taste similar to Sichuan Dew and Japanese Sencha but very slightly more floral. I reinfuse the leaves three times and it still has good flavour on the third cup. Thanks to Jing for offering this lovely tea!
