JING Tea is proud to announce that we have successfully sponsored our key producers and packer in China to become fair trade certified by IMO, ensuring equitable working conditions for tea garden workers.
As a member of the Ethical Tea Partnership, we have been committed to promoting fair trade practices since our establishment, working with our tea farmers to ensure that they follow local laws, trade union agreements, and someinternational standards. The culmination of this work has been the IMO certification of our key Chinese producers and packer.
The certification process was rigorous and means that whilst enjoying a cup of green, white or jasmine tea, you can rest assured that the producers of these teas were paid a fairly treated and paid and provided with safe working conditions.
