Oriental Beauty
东方美人乌龙茶
Grown in the beautiful landscape of Nantou County, our highly fragrant Oriental Beauty has perfectly shaped, white tipped leaves, which are a true testament to the carefully controlled oxidation by tea maker Chen, as it keeps the tea leaves whole and intact. The warm climate also contributes to the thorough oxidisation of the leaf, giving the tea its unique, iconic flavour: a pleasant, tart sweetness with complex muscatel and floral notes.

- Very fine OolongOriental Beauty is an excellent Oolong tea which I have not previously purchased. If anything it is even finer than the Li Shan and Shanlinxi teas from Taiwan I very much enjoy drinking.
- A harmony of notesSoft apple and pear like notes with woody and green touches. Very pleasant and smooth. Tricky to flatter as I was so moved by the Phoenix honey orchid. This is a good tea but this Phoenix excelled in the play of fruit and woody notes.
