Jade Sword™ Organic Green Tea
Jade Sword™ Organic Green Tea
有机毛尖绿茶
Grown among misty mountains in a remote part of Hunan province, our Organic Jade Sword™ is spring-picked at an altitude of 800m, from a garden rich with biodiversity. The garden had been abandoned in the early '90s and was revived in 2007 by tea master Zhou Wei, when he saw an opportunity to help the local minority ethnic people. He has been producing organic tea ever since, providing locals with the chance to build a community and a home.

- A proper green teaLovely mouthfeel and flavour. A very reliable green tea that tastes how good green tea should.
- A lovely refreshing tea, drinkable at any time of day or nightIt has a lovely fresh clean taste; I have been drinking this tea for many years and have tried other teas but keep coming back to this one.
- Great tasting tea!I'm addicted to this tea. It tastes lovely and refreshing, not having any bitter tastes like some of the green tea I tried before. Can definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to start their journey with green tea.

- Excellent green teaExcellent tea and fast delivery
- Lovely TeaI have tried many varieties of green tea and this is my absolute favourite. It is refreshing, has a very good flavour without being too strong and I find it absolutely delicious.
- A fine balanceA clearly green infusion, grassy and lightly floral. Needs a good three-finger pinch well covering the base of the infuser with little show-through. Will stand 2-3 infusions. Very pleasant tea; a regular favourite alongside more flora Mao Feng.
- A clean cut from the Jade swordA very fresh, light/subtle green tea. It built in intensity and complexity with the second infusion - although that might just be my palette needing to wake up (I generally drink green tea at 5 in the morning!) Much less roasty than Long Jing.On my 2nd and 3rd infusions I got some cucumber and celery.Great stuff if you want a good, clean and light bodied green tea.
- 2013s Jade Sword is simply stunning! This is by far the most delicious green tea of this style that I have tried. It has a bright, tropical sweetness quite unlike that of other normal green teas. Even after a couple infusions it holds up, revealing subtle layers of flavour and textural complexity. highly recommended!
- Not to be overlooked!Even though this is a budget price it has really nice complexity not usually seen in this bracket. It has the fresh green simple taste you'd imagine but also a subtle malty sweetness which elevates it wonderfully. I found its good for only two brews but the second is nearly as good as the first.I've been using a tea spoon per 150ml of water and 72c-75c water for 2 mins per brew.Amazing value and great a way to bulk out your order.
- A great teaThis tea is good. The flavours are not exceptional as my 5 stars my imply, but for the price it certainly is exceptional. It is grassy and fresh, which makes it a pleasure to drink, with the benefit that you can drink as much as you like and it won't break the bank.If you want something less grassy and more complex go for a Sencha, but if you want really good green tea for everyday this is great.
- The Essence of SummerDrinking this made me think of summer hay meadows. The finest freshest hay with sunflowers and dandelions, and a hint of creaminess to round it off. As a green tea, it offers creamy grass and flowers, with no hint of bitterness at all, just the taste of sweet summer.
- Everyday teaPerfect example of an everyday tea.Very fresh and you can get this lush pineapple tang out of it. Clean and crisp.
- A simple green tea to be enjoyed in any momentWhen you open the bag you can smell the deep fragrance of the dry leaves, which I associate to freshly crushed olive oil and there is no trace of the strange earthy smell often found in cheap green tea. The dark green leaves are long in shape and when you pour hot water over them a nutty aroma reminiscent of Dragon Well comes out... I like to imagine that this is how the air of misty tea gardens of China smell like. The crisp flavour cleans the mouth, giving the sensation of the tea leaves in all their freshness. This makes the Jade Sword the perfect tea to be sipped throughout the morning. It's a very easy to brew, you can even use a simple glass, but I wouldn't recommend multiple infusions as it will loose quickly its fresh taste.Jade Sword tea is also delicious when cold-infused. Its flavour is very balanced and it won't release much bitterness, just steep it in the fridge overnight and you'll get a wonderfully jade coloured drink.Definitely the perfect everyday tea with a great value for its price, superior to many other teas of the same price range such as the Gunpowder.
