This organic tea encapsulates the very essence of the Darjeeling terroir with superb clarity, freshness and aroma. Founded in 1869, the Seeyok estate lies in the Mirik Valley and has been producing teas organically since 1994. The perfect cup
- Measure 4g or 2tsp per cup (250ml)
- Heat water to 80°C
- Infuse tea for 3 minutes
- You can re-infuse this tea twice
- Stunningly goodA newcomer to Darjeeling, I wasn't sure that this competition winner could compete with the other excellent first flush teas on offer. There is, however, something so light and yet richly satisfying about this clear golden cup, that I shall definitely be buying it again. Strawberry, forest fruit aromas and a fresh, fruity palate with incredible depth of flavour. Wonderful.
