2008 Raw Pu erh Mini Cakes Pu erh Tea

The Origin Story
An excellent introduction to pu erh tea, these individually wrapped single-serving pu erh cakes exhibit a hint of smokiness with a warm apricot finish. Each mini cake is the perfect size to make one pot of tea. Simply use one cake per cup, unwrap, infuse for 3 minutes and repeat, reducing infusion time as tea unfurls fully.
China - Yunnan

Yunnan is the true home of puerh tea and is also known for rich black teas

Yunnan is one of China's most ethnically diverse provinces and some of the minority tribes live in mountainous nature reserves where the Da Ye tea variety grows natively as trees of up to 1,000 years old.

A lovely smooth and comforting cup of tea
Until I heard about this company in a newspaper article, my only experience of unusual teas came from buying loose tea from health food shops and oriental supermarkets. After having tried about a dozen different kinds of japanese and chinese green teas from jing and other suppliers I have to say this is my favourite so far. it's smooth, comforting and has a lovely earthy aroma. What surprised me most of all was that this is so different from any other green tea I've had. The only other time I've tried drinks of the same type that have tasted so different from one another is when sampling diffrerent single malt whiskies.
