The Origin Story
After a meticulous search, we discovered a rare Gyokuro which combines the quality and excellence that we prioritise and celebrate with our partner farmers. The leaves are nurtured in shade for 30 days before being picked in early May to create an unmistakable umami-rich character.
The Gyokuro Single Explorer comprises ten recyclable, loose leaf tea sachets – each containing a perfect single serve for easy use.

The largest tea-producing region in Japan, particularly famed for its sencha, Shizuoka sits in the central Honshu island of Japan with a Pacific Ocean coastline. The beauty of this area and its suitability for tea production, is summed up in its name, meaning in English "tranquil hills".
