Vintage Imperial Puerh

This high quality, cooked puerh tea was authentically produced in the celebrated region of Yunnan, China. Having undergone the wo dui (wet piling) fermentation process, the loose tea has a smoother texture and richer depth of flavour, imitating flavours that would normally appear from years of natural ageing. Composed mostly of buds and young leaves, cooked puerh of this quality is deemed Gong Ting (imperial grade) and would have been suitable for serving to the Emperor.

  • Cultivar - Da Ye Zhong
  • Picked - Spring
  • Oxidisation level - 100%
