The oolong that I grew up with

This made me appreciate the varying types of oolong tea - I tended not to enjoy the more modern varieties of oolong as much and this is exactly what I was looking for. This was a refined version which simpler and less clouded flavours from lower quality teas. Will be buying again!

    Nectar of the gods!!!!

I recently ordered a 10g sample of this delightful oolong and it was gone in a day. From the moment the hot water hit the leaves, the most beautiful aroma wafted up from them and i was instantly excited. I had to get my nose in after the wash and deeply inhale, it's a tea for smelling as well as for drinking. The 1st steep yields a lovely amber coloured tea with all of the characteristics of roasted hazel and autumn fruits but with that beautifully sweet floral echo you expect from a quality oolong. The 3rd steep is where the magic happens! the colour fades somewhat and you don't think its going to taste of anything and then... All these bold floral notes come to the forefront with a syrupy sweetness on the back end and it will echo around your mouth and the back of your throat for a good time after. I will be ordering this in bulk!
