Combining high quality tea leaves from the tropical regions of Ruhuna and Dimbula, our Ceylon is carefully curated from a variety of altitudes to express the very best of its terroir. Tea from the low growing gardens of Ruhuna are known for a rich, malty base and deep colour, while gardens in the heights of Dimbula produce tea with fragrant aromatics and refined structure. Together they create an outstanding breakfast infusion with robust flavour and a luxuriously smooth texture.

I’m trying to reduce caffeine but love tea. This tea is making that possible!

Very happy with the tea and the flavour.

Very mild

This is a decaf tea with a light almost floral flavour. It just didn’t agree with me. Still on the hunt for the perfect decaf tea for me.

I was very disappointed with

I was very disappointed with this tea; it has no taste and no fragrance. I expected more from Jing (I am a returning customer after a few years away). The white tea with peony was equally as disappointing, I used to order this tea from Jing years ago and it was excellent. I don't know where the problem lies, but I'm not paying these prices for this quality. It's a shame.

Nice but too expensive in small bags

Beautiful tea but sold in too small a size. JING used to sell this in a really big bag which made it much better value. Since the rebrand it is now sold in tiny 80g bags - it is nice but too expensive at this price.

Ceylon tea, one of the better ones without caffein

I was looking for a dark ceylon tea without caffein. The previous product from another seller was not tasting like ceylon tea. This tea on the other side is tasting much more just like ceylon tea tastes.

In my case it means this tea tastes dark and not sweet or fruity. This is a good tea to drink both plain or to have it with a cake or something sweet. I am satisfied with this tea and will order it again in the future.

One more thing, I drink a lot of ceylon tea everyday. after 2 big cups of 500ml I can not drink more ceylontea due to the huge amount of caffein.

So i usually start drinking this tea instead. And so far i have been drinking up to 10 cups of this tea wihout any caffeinrelated issue despite drinking normal te before. been doing this for several days now :)

How do I store JING tea?

All tea should be kept away from heat, light, moisture and odours. Exposure to these will cause the tea to deteriorate and lose flavour.

We recommend storing our loose teas in our beautiful Refill Caddies or its resealable ziplock bag, and store them in a cool dry place. Generally speaking, black teas and more heavily oxidized oolongs can be stored for a longer time than green, white and lightly oxidized oolong teas. Green teas, white teas and light oolong teas are best drunk within two to three months of opening.

However, they can also be stored in the fridge to maintain freshness for as long as possible. If you choose to store your green, white and light oolongs in the fridge, be careful to take the packs out a little in advance of making your tea so that they can reach room temperature. Opening a bag straight from the fridge will result in condensation on the inside of the pack, which when closed can then affect the quality of the tea inside.
