From mist-covered mountains in far-flung provinces of China to precarious terroirs shaded by the Himalayas, the seclusion of the growing areas has helped to keep the gardens unspoilt, but it has also kept their teas hidden.
Our founder Ed Eisler launched JING in 2004 to bring the best of these teas to the world. Ever since, we’ve been going to meet the masters in their gardens, to learn their stories, to share them, and to showcase everything tea can be.

We share their commitment to the nature that defines their lives and will always help them to protect it – after all, these are unique teas that couldn’t be grown anywhere else.
