  • Description

A revered green tea with refreshing tastes of sweet orchids, savoury cut grass and an almost milky, smooth texture. Picked during the pre-Qing Ming period of early spring from a semi-wild tea garden among the forested Five Dragon peak of Yellow Mountain.

This revered tea, known in China as Huangshan Maofeng, comes to us from the mountain-top garden of Mr. Zhang Min, among the lofty peaks of rural Anhui province. Picked inthe early spring from abandoned tea bushes on a semi-wild plot of land, the delicate young buds and leaves are carefully fired and rolled to create this iconic tea, capturing the purity of spring-fresh flavour with hints of savouriness and bright, floral aromas.
