The delicate buds are picked in the morning, out of the direct sunlight and during a low breeze. This locks in their beautiful fragrance before they are slow-dried to retain their sweet floral flavour. Clean, refreshing and soft, with a leafy vegetal note that cuts through the fragrance – they're nothing like the sweet rosewater you might know from cooking. Did you know, ‘rose tisane’ is a preferable term to ‘rose tea’, as tea is an infusion of leaves only from the Camellia sinensis.
