    Grown in an organic garden among the protected forests of Lala Shan, these fragrant leaves unfurl to reveal notes of dense apricot tarts and sweet osmanthus with a thick, viscous texture.

    Taiwan is renowned for its towering, mountain landscape, the perfect, fertile land for producing delicious oolong teas. Lala Shan (thought to translate as Sword Mountain in the aboriginal dialect) isone of Taiwan's prized Natural Protection Zones, with its forest covered peak reaching soaring heights well over 2,000m in elevation. Slow grown among the organic, high mountain environment, the tea bushes here are allowed time to develop rich and unique tastes, with often fruity and floral notes. Picked in spring, the leaves are tossed gently to encourage light oxidisation before being rolled and fired into tight pearls which unfurl in hot water. With a hint of tropical fruit tang and a delicious, warm and biscuity fragrance it's an indulgent experience for both the taste and aroma.
