  • Description

This traditional style of rolled Iron Buddha oolong tea has a balanced character, offering complex fresh and dark flavours, with soothing notes of autumn fruits and roasted hazelnut.

Skilfully crafted in a style now rarely seen, this tea is one of the definitive Chinese oolongs, medium baked and around 30% oxidised in the traditional way. In contrast tothe modern lighter styles, this tea is a balance of fresh flavours and darker notes, rounded and smooth with prominent fruitiness; a true testament to tea master Wang Changjin’s years of experience. Comforting and complex, the leaves reveal a range of aromas and flavours over multiple infusions. Discover the differences between Traditional Iron Buddha and Iron Buddha.
