The name Assam means ‘one without equal’, which is fitting for one of the most biodiverse places in the world, the home to the One Horned Rhino, elephant corridors through tea gardens, more birds than anywhere in India and some of the highest rainfalls of anywhere in the world.

not keen on the smokey taste. or orange blossom. i keep brewing to see if i can get used to it. but at the moment cannot drink a full cup.. i prefer the lemon taste in my earl grey with single variety Black tea.

I have loved drinking Jing

I have loved drinking Jing Earl Grey every time I go to the Cathay airline first class lounge. I had looked at many shops in Hong Kong but could not find the tea. So I went online and found I had to order it direct from the UK. And now I enjoy Jing earl grey at home anytime I want! It has a wonderfully fragrant smell and drinking it reduces my stress level so that I can just relax and enjoy myself.

Very nice Earl Grey

My mother has me buy this for her whenever I am in England.

Rich & full-bodied Earl Grey without any heaviness or cloying flavors

Discovered Jing & this Earl Grey some years ago during a stay at Seaham Hall (excellent hotel, BTW). Costs a bit extra and takes a little time to arrive from across the pond, but well worth it. A treat at home or on the road, this tea has become an essential part of my travel kit. I adhere to a three-minute steep, as beyond that the black tea can begin to eclipse the bergamot.

Best Earl Grey tea ever. A superb brew

My husband first tasted this tea in the Fitzwilliam museum, Cambridge in Autumn 2018. He couldn't get over how lovely it tasted and mentioned it on many occasions afterwards as it has tasted so amazing. He is a regular Earl Grey drinker and said he'd never tasted such a good cup. I ordered him some of this tea, together with a glass tea-iere, bamboo tray and tea caddy for Christmas. He was delighted and savours every drop of this delightful tea.

Only the best!

First tasted this tea in an upmarket hotel at the end of 2014 and it is just the best one out there. It is more expensive than other brands but definitely worth it. I generally drink it with lemon but it does not lose the 'earl grey' flavour if milk is used. I have tried others but always come back to Jing. Unbeatable quality. And as the tea bags are individually wrapped, I can take them with me when I stay away from home.

How do I store JING tea?

All tea should be kept away from heat, light, moisture and odours. Exposure to these will cause the tea to deteriorate and lose flavour.

We recommend storing our loose teas in our beautiful Refill Caddies or its resealable ziplock bag, and store them in a cool dry place. Generally speaking, black teas and more heavily oxidized oolongs can be stored for a longer time than green, white and lightly oxidized oolong teas. Green teas, white teas and light oolong teas are best drunk within two to three months of opening.

However, they can also be stored in the fridge to maintain freshness for as long as possible. If you choose to store your green, white and light oolongs in the fridge, be careful to take the packs out a little in advance of making your tea so that they can reach room temperature. Opening a bag straight from the fridge will result in condensation on the inside of the pack, which when closed can then affect the quality of the tea inside.
