Earl Grey Black Tea
The Origin Story
The best Earl Grey Teas use quality components that complement, and not overwhelm each other for a perfect balance of flavour. To create our definitive version of Earl Grey Tea, we've selected a delicious full-bodied base black tea from Ruhuna in Sri Lanka. A touch of natural bergamot tempers the tea's natural richness and gives the tea its delicious, citrussy note. A sprinkling of bright blue cornflowers completes the experience to add visual flare. This is a long standing favourite amongst JING customers.
Our Earl Grey tea is expertly blended so that it can be enjoyed with or without milk - its addition complements rather than overwhelms. Earl Grey also tastes fantastic when cold infused. View our Cold Infusion Recipes.

Engage Your Senses
Dark, orthodox Ceylon leaf sprinkled with (aromatically neutral) blue cornflower petals for added visual charm.
Subtle and light, brightened with fresh citrus. The depth of the Ceylon holds its own beneath the flamboyance of bergamot.
In the Cup
A dark, coppery walnut tea infusion.
Refreshing and bright black tea, lifted with citrus charm that freshens the structured tenacity of the Ceylon leaf. A perfectly focused classic.

Earl Grey Black Tea
My husband first tasted this tea in the Fitzwilliam museum, Cambridge in Autumn 2018. He couldn't get over how lovely it tasted and mentioned it on many occasions afterwards as it has tasted so amazing. He is a regular Earl Grey drinker and said he'd never tasted such a good cup. I ordered him some of this tea, together with a glass tea-iere, bamboo tray and tea caddy for Christmas. He was delighted and savours every drop of this delightful tea.
Only the best!First tasted this tea in an upmarket hotel at the end of 2014 and it is just the best one out there. It is more expensive than other brands but definitely worth it. I generally drink it with lemon but it does not lose the 'earl grey' flavour if milk is used. I have tried others but always come back to Jing. Unbeatable quality. And as the tea bags are individually wrapped, I can take them with me when I stay away from home.
Excellent. Usually next day deliveryOnly drink Jing Earl Grey tea since our son gave some to us a few years ago. It is very refreshing particularly with lemon on a hot summer day.
Loose Leaf Jing Earl GreyDelicious! Nothing beats a pot of Jing tea from a China cup :)
